Answer
My Department has carried out a feasibility study to consider possible improvements to the Glenavy Road / Station Road / Magheramesk Lane junction, including a right turn lane into Station Road.
Initial findings from this study have identified a number of design challenges, particularly relating to relative proximity of the two side roads. Officials are continuing to seek to develop improvement proposals for this junction.
