Answer

The current priority for delivering the Renewable Electricity Price Guarantee (REPG) scheme is introducing the required Primary legislation.

My officials are therefore prioritising the work on the Primary Bill, and we aim to introduce the Bill to the Assembly before summer recess 2026.

Once the Primary Bill is in place, subordinate legislation will need to be taken forward to set out the detailed arrangements. The Terms and Conditions consultation will be critical part of this development process and will therefore be the next key milestone for scheme delivery.

Assuming no unexpected priority requirements or delays arising from the passage of the Primary Bill, it is anticipated that the consultation will follow.
